In an address to the nation just moments ago Prime Minister Mia Mottley outlined changes to the curfew directive put in place to suppress the spread of Covid-19.
From Monday June 15th, under strict health protocols all businesses will be allowed to operate as normal.
The existing curfew times will be discontinued from Monday June 15th. The new curfew will see no restrictions Monday-Thursday. However, Friday-Sunday a curfew will be in effect from 10pm to 5am.
Day care centres will be allowed to reopen from June 22nd.
Restrictions removed from parks and beaches.
PSV's and buses will be allowed to operate at full siting capacity - passengers must wear masks.
Sporting activity will be alowed to resume with limitations on spectators.
Social events will be permitted with a limit of 250 patrons.
Small events will be permitted with masks and social distancing
Gyms will reopen but must have the capacity to facilitate physical distancing.
The public has been advised to avoid hand shaking and hugging.
Restrictions on visits to hospitals, prisons and senior citizens homes will remain.
