Demarco Gibbs, the ten-year-old boy who was hospitalised over the past four weeks in a coma, has passed away.
Demarco was reportedly struck in his head back in June with a piece of wood whilst in the comlany of playmates.
He subsequently received treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with serious injuries to the brain but recovered four weeks later and was discharged.
Demarco was since re-hospitalised on July 16 and remained a patient in the ICU.
He reportedly passed away around at 9 p.m Tuesday night.
Police have since launched an investigation.
