Four stage Covid-19 response

Covid-19 Czar in the Prime Ministers Office Mr. Richard Carter explained that the government through consultation with a range of sectors have derived a four (4) stage Covid-19 response plan.

The four-stage plan he explained to consist of a stage 0-3;

"Stage 0: which is the state we are at currently, where there are no cases, Stage 1: if there is an imported case moving to Stage 2: if there is local transmission, in other words if someone gets ill and the person has no travel history and therefore has been infected locally moving to Stage 3: if there is widespread local transmission."

Each of the stages would be accompanied by advice in relation to how the government and people of Barbados are expected to respond.
