RBPF receive donation for CCTV

The Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) and The Tourism Development Corporation (TDC) have once again partnered with the Royal Barbados Police Force (RBPF) by way of a donation to help facilitate the installation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras in the Oistins, Christ Church area. In a presentation which took place after 1pm on Thursday, January 16th 2020 in the Board Room at Police Headquarters, Roebuck Street, St. Michael, both Senator Rudy Grant the Chief Executive Officer of the BHTA as well as Mr. Steve Austin, Chairman of the BHTA both pledged the continued support of their organization in lending assistance to the Force. Ms Jacqueline Gill Executive Officer representing the Tourism Development Corporation also reiterated her organizations support to the initiative. Acting Commissioner of Police Mr. Erwin Boyce accepted the donation on behalf of the RBPF he welcomed the assistance and gave the assurance that the Force would continue to work with all of its partners to ensure that Barbados remained a safe and stable environment for all to enjoy. He also thanked both organizations for their continued support.
